My Story
In 2019 and 2000,
I experienced the passing of my two beloved dogs.
Through that, I began to reflect on
the connection between soul and time,
the memory of water,
the memory of trees,
the memories sleeping within me,
and the song of the whales.
Something I cannot quite remember,
yet a memory that lies deep, deep within.
A promise madelong, long before
entering this body.
One day, a friend said,
“I want to see this story
through Ako-chan’s paintings!”
Leina then showed me a video
of the Fifth Dream story being read aloud.
That was my encounter with Fifth Dream.
It felt as though I had found an answer.
Everything I had been contemplating
settled perfectly inside me at that moment,
and I was filled
with the feeling:
“I want to paint.”
Six years have passed since then.
During these six years, Fifth Dream
has asked me many questions.
It has been a time like a journey
moving through my inner world.
A precious time
of conversation between myself and myself.
Now, my feelings have taken form
and are reaching you.
May they reach the depths of your heart,
together with light. ✨
If you'd like it more poetic, more simple, or more formal, I can tune the tone.
